Situated on Princes Street, this luxury hotel has a modern leisure club and impressive views over Edinburgh Castle. George Street's bars, restaurants and shops are less than a 5-minute walk away.

The spacious, 5-star rooms at Caledonian Hilton Hotel each have a flat-screen TV with internet access. All rooms have a luxurious bathroom with designer toiletries and fluffy bathrobes.

At Pompadour Restaurant, traditional Scottish cuisine is served using quality local produce.

LivingWell Health Club features a swimming pool and fitness suite. Guests can relax in the hot tub, steam room or sauna, or try massage and body wrap treatments at Ocean Rooms Spa.

The Caledonian is set in a grand railway building, made from local sandstone. In Edinburgh’s West End, the hotel is next to Princes Street Gardens, and former guests include Nelson Mandela and Sean Connery.

Important information

Please note that refurbishments are taking place from October 2011 until June 2012. The main areas affected will be some of the bedrooms and the public areas.

During this time, access to the hotel will remain the same from the corner of Lothian Road and Rutland Street but kindly note that both Chisholms Restaurant and Henry J Beans Bar & Grill will be closed. Guests can still enjoy lunch, afternoon tea and dinner in the hotel’s Pompadour Restaurant, served seven days a week.

The hotel will not be able to offer guests car parking facilities. There is an NCP car park, located in Castle Terrace which is a 3-minute walk from the hotel. The address and post code for this NCP car park is Castle Terrace North Road, Edinburgh, EH1 2EW.
